What I do

Three trades, one pair of hands

Tuning, moving, and repairing are three different skills, and most piano owners need all three at some point. Doing all three myself means I can maintain the piano's touch and sound, fix mechanical problems, and handle the piano carefully when moving it. For example, a pedal rod may unseat once in a while during a move and I can remedy it immediately. A tuner/mover is a good combination to have!

    Professional piano tuning done by ear for homes, schools, churches, and performance venues around Harrisburg. I tune to Standard Pitch A=440, unless requested otherwise.

    Insured piano and organ moving, including grands, spinets, consoles, high-back uprights, and player pianos. First in mind is safety, and we have the equipment needed for success. Thousands moved!

A piano is merely fine furniture until it is in tune. I have spent my working life around these instruments in central Pennsylvania, tuning by ear rather than by meter. Some of the rooms I work in are living rooms. Some of them are opera stages, concert venues or TV studios. Customers keep calling me back because I answer phone calls, estimate the job and do excellent work. I care about your instrument!
