Measure before anything moves

Grands come apart to travel: lyre and legs off, case wrapped and strapped to a skid board. Uprights are wrapped and secured to a dolly. Everything is padded at the corners and the keyboard end.

The piano is walked, dollied and loaded with the crew the job calls for, then reassembled and stood level in its new room. Pianos need a while to settle after a move before they are tuned, and you will be told when to book that.
